A Quiet Horizon
Designed by 8interiors for a private client, this four-bedroom bungalow — with an internal Gross Floor Area of approximately 260m² — reimagines single-storey living as something genuinely sculptural. A dramatically pitched, asymmetric roofline anchors the façade, its dark timber underside set against crisp white render and bands of charcoal cladding. Full-height glazing dissolves the boundary between inside and out, drawing the garden's greenery into a living space defined by warm oak joinery, soft taupe upholstery, and a quietly tactile material palette. To the rear, a sunken courtyard with a built-in firepit and timber deck extends the home's living space outdoors, framed by clean rendered walls and structured planting. Each bedroom will be fitted with Dall'Agnese's Glass Up wardrobe — a sliding glass-door system, to be installed once construction is complete. Its glass doors create a quiet balance between open and closed space, offering a glimpse of what lies within even when shut, set against a rich walnut interior of open shelving, hanging rails and soft-close drawers. Integrated LED lighting brings warmth and depth to every detail, illuminating colour, fabric and texture from within — light that, in Dall'Agnese's own words, embraces elegance.

Garden Pavilion
Garden Pavilion reimagines the rear of an existing terraced home through the creation of a contemporary extension designed to strengthen the connection between architecture, landscape, and everyday living.
The existing rear extension offered limited natural light and a weak relationship with the garden. The design responds by introducing a simple architectural form that maximises openness, daylight, and visual connectivity to the outdoor space.
Defined by clean lines, generous glazing, and a restrained material palette, the extension creates a seamless transition between interior and exterior. Full-height sliding doors frame views of the garden while drawing natural light deep into the heart of the home, transforming the living environment into a bright and flexible space for modern family life.
A series of terraces and landscaped elements extend the living experience beyond the building envelope, mediating the change in level between the house and garden while creating opportunities for relaxation, entertaining, and year-round enjoyment of the outdoor space.
Contemporary materials have been carefully selected to provide a subtle contrast to the existing dwelling, clearly expressing the new intervention while remaining respectful of its context. The deep roof overhang enhances the architectural composition, providing shelter, shade, and a strong visual frame to the garden.
The completed project faithfully realises the original design vision, demonstrating the value of thoughtful design, detailed visualisation, and careful execution. The result is a contemporary family home that is brighter, more connected to its surroundings, and better suited to modern living.

A considered addition to a classic London garden, this pavilion rejects the ordinary. Clad in dark, vertically-ribbed timber, it sits at the end of the plot with the quiet authority of a building that has always belonged there.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing spans the full width of the front elevation, dissolving the boundary between inside and out. Two flanking planters — white, cylindrical, planted with architectural cordylines — frame the entrance with a deliberate symmetry. A broad flight of pale stone steps draws you up and in, unhurried.
Inside, the space is open, calm, and filled with light. It works equally well as a home office, a studio, or a place to simply be. Outside, it transforms the garden from a backdrop into a destination.
This is what a garden building looks like when it is designed, not assembled.

Storage, reconsidered. This bespoke walk-in wardrobe commission began with a single question: what does a wardrobe look like when it is designed for the way you actually live?
The answer is a precisely engineered interior — every rail, shelf, and drawer positioned with intention. Materials were selected for their tactile quality as much as their durability: lacquered panels in a deep, warm tone, brushed metal hardware, and full-height mirrored surfaces that expand the space without overwhelming it.
Sourced through our Italian manufacturing partners, the joinery is built to exacting tolerances. Nothing flexes, nothing rattles. It is the kind of quality that reveals itself slowly, in the quiet satisfaction of a drawer that closes perfectly every time.

The White Vault: A Modern Garden Annexe in South London
Standing tall in the narrow side-plot of a typical South London terrace, this annexe doesn't try to blend in with its brick-and-pitched-roof neighbours. Instead, it plants a flag for the future—bold, solid, and unapologetically rectangular.
Rather than a glass box, this is a monolithic white cube. It wears its light-coloured render like a coat of armour, giving it a weighty, grounded presence that feels permanent. The facade is intentionally stark: a warm timber door sits to the left, while a single, deep-set band of glazing cuts into the right side. Up top, two recessed skylights break the roofline, throwing natural light straight down into the heart of the floorplan.
At twilight, the architecture completely shifts personality. Soft, amber wall-washers glow from the projecting eaves and the lower corners, turning the heavy white box into a floating lantern. It feels less like a utilitarian garden shed and more like a private gallery or a hideaway for quiet contemplation.
It is a compact, self-contained retreat that adds a serious dose of contemporary character to an otherwise classic suburban plot. No sprawling extensions, no gimmicks—just a sharply drawn, solid white volume that knows exactly what it is.
